Has anyone had experiences with retrievers from this kennel. Does anyone have any experiences with puppies from the Sire and Bitch? I have just started my search for a new chocolate lab and I ran across this breeder on Retriever Training Forum.
Any words about the trainer or breeder?
All of the dogs look good on their website. I am not sure if I should be impressed by the pedigree or not. Interested in the OBs thoughts.

Its what I like. My dad has trained dogs all of my life and always told me when getting a dog "get what you like". That's when it comes to color etc.
And yes, I had a chocolate previously and he was good, not great but good. He didn't have much pedigree though. I'm going to change that this time around.

Perrons have been in the game a long time. I don't know the bitch owner but it looks like a nice breeding. Gumps a solid stud.

Yeah I really am ready to pull the trigger. I've got a month at least to mull it over.

Great people, they'll treat right. I just bought a pup out of "Gump" x "Jazz". He's 2 months old and has tons of drive and smarts. Gump and Cuda are 2 of the better chocolate studs going. I think Cuda just ran his 4th or 5th Grand pass.

My chocolate came from bayou labradors on the west bank, really recommend them, great blood lines and I couldnt be happier with my girl. This is her about a year ago, shes 3 now

Gump side is extremenly impressive. I tried to breed my female to Gumps sire "Pirate" twice, one of the best dogs in the Northwest if not in the US. Two trips to Oregon with no luck. Dame side is ok.
I have highend dogs and overall the breeding looks good.
Pups would make great hunting dogs if trained by someone familiar with these type of dogs "high energy/ hard driving", but it can get frustrating for an amateur trainer.

I have a black dog exactly comparable to this female. She was trained at champion retrievers by Mr. Joe. I highly recommend champion retrievers. You can contact me at radwilk AT gmail.com with any specific questions. I can't speak highly enough of these people. I have a well bred dog and she has the recipe for success and Mr. Joe trained her to the best of her ability. Mr. Joe is also one of the only trainers who encourages his customers to attend tests and watch their dogs succeed. We usually had a group of team Joe members running around at each test. It was a fun time! Get the puppy! Very reasonable price.

Thanks for the explanations fellas. That's great to hear.
I think the puppies are due in June. I'm getting excited.
It's about time to brush up on my training.

Yeah he's a beast. If I end up getting a puppy from him, he'll get introduced to the OB
