Has anyone used one the corn vending machines? Cornstop, CornXpress, etc.

What are your thoughts?

My horse loves them. I'm tired of him hitting me up for a 5spot though.

eta: I thought this was like a Twice-The-Ice but for corn.

It is, and you can choose how much you want. I think it goes up to 500lb options. I passed by one in Port Gibson and had to check it out.

I checked the same one out last year. Is it still there? if I remember is not as cheap as the bags, but very convenient if you are running late the camp.

The corn vending machine in Port Gibson is gone, as of a few months ago.

Would not invest in one, when feeding is banned statewide they will no longer be a novelty or profitable.

LA Dept of Ag is trying to regulate/ban them bc the mechanism cant pass weights and measures to accurately dispense the exact same amount of corn per the dollar. It's on a timed dispenser now; until it can go to a by-the-pound mechanism, the state will keep trying outlaw them. Right now there's one off 425 near Mangham that asks for fixed "donation" before it dispenses a "free" amount of corn - by timed feed mechanism, not by weight.
