Do foxes dig out and eat moles?

Watching one in my yard and he has nose in ground and then will take off like he is chasing something and then abruptly stop and do it again. I've seen cats take moles but don't know about foxes.

Yes. They'll eat anything they can get their mouths on including fruits and vegetables from my garden.

I've got a big fat ground hog under my shed I wish he would take. He is gone now and didn't score any moles.

I had a miniature schnauzer as a kid that would do this from time to time.

Got a rottweiler that does.
