Dock build cost

Anyone got recent costs to build pier and dock with boat lift and roof?
Southeast Louisiana around the rigolets.
I’m probably going to build it 14’ above mean high tide and use wood. I’m figuring this high up Keeps it safe except for the worst (Katrina) type storm.
I’d appreciate any input in cost and ideas.
Thanks

All I know is a 400' boardwalk in the marsh was quoted 40k last year. 400' long by 5' wide

That’s not bad at all. Works out to $20/sq foot.

Lake in Texas we were quoted $35k to redo our 350 sq ft platform. We have already replaced the 100’ walkway to the platform. I’m doing the work myself because I can and the effort isn’t worth $20-25k to me. The piers are already existing. All I have to do is some welding, and drive a few more posts.

Shop around. Derek will be a much lower price than say Gills or Mueller. I also think the quality of work will be a bit different as Gills and Mueller do top notch work. I can't say exactly how much it will cost but about 3 years ago Derek was about $6,000 to drive 20 pilings. I'd say you're looking at about 10-15k for just the boat house.
