when sitting in the sun?

Looking to get one of those Yeti Haul coolers with the wheels built in.
Let me just say I would never pay $400 for a cooler. I have a %30 off coupon and a 250 yeti gift card that I won. So basically, the Yeti haul will be $30.00 or so.
White seems like it would get dirty and full of stains so I was gonna order this teal green color. Wondering if the shite will get scorching hot to sit on in the sun. I like the navy colored option but that would definitely get hot. Anyone have any experience using the colored coolers?

put enough stickers on it and you'll cool it 15 degrees.

I put grey hydro-turf on the top of my dark green yeti.
now I can sit on it in the sun or stand on it and not burn my feet. just get the hydroturf that has the sticky on it already. ez-peazy.

I have a tan Orca and a white Orca. I do feel a temperature difference when touching the lids when they are in the direct sunlight. I’m sure it has to make a difference in how long they keep ice.

Otter box makes a fantastic back pack cooler. Thing is legit and with a first responder discount was able to scoop one up for about $150.

Things are legit.

otter box cooler

They're listing for $239 right now straight up but I've seen them cheaper.

You should really add tint to your cooler if you are going to keep it out in the sun. Reflect the heat off of it.

I wouldn't want a dark cooler. In my opinion, it makes it harder to make sure its clean after filling it with fish. Lighter colors only. Or No Colors.

Yes. Dark objects hold heat. A white ice chest will not get hot like a dark one will

Goes for everything.

A white boat will not get as hot as a dark one

A white truck will not get as hot as a dark one

Aren’t No Colors typically less expensive?
