Congratulations Lonnie. An achievement to be very proud of your son.

Congratulations to your son!! Eagle Scout is still considered a huge accomplishment. My son is in med school and will start applying for residency soon. His Eagle Scout rank is the one accomplishment not achieved during med school that he has been told to include on his applications.
I have a buddy that is the Chief Audit Executive for a major insurance company. He said that any time he is reviewing applications for new hires under his purview, being an Eagle Scout will automatically get you an interview with him, and will get you the job if all other things are equal.

Congratulations. My son was an Eagle Scout too. Lots of hard work involved.

Congrats, what did he think of his BoR? Did he have any questions he thought were great and unusual?
I've been doing a few boards lately, always looking for interesting questions the Scouts think are good to ask.

He said it was easy. The guys on the board were very nice. When we asked him what did they ask about his project they said, "They mostly asked about my merit badges." They asked him, "What merit badge was the hardest?" and "Which merit badge do you think you'll use most in life?" He answered "personal management" for both.
He had a good project report so I assume they'd read most of it before had. They also asked him what point of the scout law he thought was most important. He said "Reverent, because it starts with God and works it's way down."
The other one he said they asked was "What does leadership mean to you?" He replied, "Most scouts think leadership is bossing people around. I think it's more like setting a good example for others like coming to every meeting and always wearing you class A unless we are doing an activity." I thought that was a very good answer for a kid his age.
As for questions a couple of good one's I've heard are:
"What question were you afraid we were going to ask you?"
"How are you different now than when you joined scouting?"

Sounds like the basic questions. I tend to ask a lot of leadership questions, what advice they would give the Scoutmaster to keeps scouts engage, what leadership changes they believe need to be made. See what the kids that pushed so hard to make it through would like to see improved in scouting basically.
My favorite one I like to ask is at the end when we ask them if they know what is important about this date in history. Some of them are warned ahead or figure it out and say it is the date they got their eagle, but sometimes it's fun when they don't realize where that one is going.

The last question they asked him (after we were invited back into the room was by the Council Representative/Board of Review Chair, "Would you like me to sign your application to make your rank official?"
