Reliability
Initial cost - the husq is $30 cheaper plus a 10% coupon i have for Lowes, so $50 cheaper total.

I've never owned a Husqvarna, but currently have:
Stihl chainsaw
Stihl pole saw
Echo weed eater
Echo post hole digger
I have always run Stihl in the past, but the Echo's have been more reliable. Any future purchases will definitely be Echo.

RedMax TR2350S-lighter, more powerful
Available at Geatrueax's in Gonzale's.
Because Lowe's doesn't service the products they sell.

never had husqvarna but i have owned the echo for 4 years now. still runs like new. i weedeat over an acre of land with house, pond, 50+ trees and edge the driveway and sidewalk. it has cranked on the 2nd or 3rd pull every time. even after sitting in the shed all winter. the only thing i do that most probably don't is i run non-ethanol gas in my gas/oil mix. all that said, i love my echo.

The echo easy feed head is the best thing to ever happen to weed eaters.

7 years on my echo, no service needed. Non ethanol gas and you're good to go.

I Have had an Echo weed eater for about 3 years now and I love it.
It runs great when I turn it upside down to edge, but Ive notice a lot lot of times when I flip it back over to weed eat, it sputters and the engine dies. This will happen 4-5 times until it starts running smooth again, right side up. What could be causing this?

I'll echo the echo. And the easy feed head is great.
Check and see where your gas pick up is in the tank.

10 years on my Echo. I just replaced the carburetor because I stripped the screw that holds the pin that the needle valve pivots on. So one $30 part assembly that was dirt easy to replace is the only non-original part and it still works perfectly.

Echo easily out of those two

Stihl and Echo are the only options, RedMax is solid as well.

This x 1000.
I mow once per week and I may have to replace my line twice during the cutting season.
