Time to retire my Mr Twister electric knife. Looking for something with more power. Any of the bubba blades worth it? One friend says the battery powered is better but the other says the 110v

I've had the 110v Bubba for a few years. Way better than the mister fister

I have a battery powered bubba blade and it’s been really good but I haven’t used it all that much.

Mr. Twister works fine for me on trout, but I know there are better knives. I use a regular bubba blade for redfish. Never tried the electric bubba.

I’ve seen the fish cleaner in Cocodrie use an American angler on trout and a Ridgid sawzall with a filletzall blade for sheephead. He was also using an old timer the last time he was cleaning grouper and snapper… I’m sure he goes through some knives.

It seems to be bulky. Does it matter much to you?

I have the cordless Bubba and it MOWS through snapper. Very happy with it, and it’s convenient. Kit comes with 2 batteries and they seem to last a long time.

I love my Bubba blade knife with Mistrr Twister blades for trout and softer fish. The Bubba blades are aggressive for that work

Has not bothered me much the few times I’ve used it.

Really need to catch a mess of bass out of my lake at my farm and use it. My lake is overpopulated. That knife would make quick work of a bass.

The lithium rapala works great for me on trout/reds/tripletail. My first one last years before I dropped it on concrete and broke it. Replacement is probably 2-3 yrs old now and still going strong.

Cordless Bubba doesn’t impress me much, would not recommend.

I was an American Angler believer. Then I got an Old Timer. 10x better for a 1/3 the price. After my first use with the Old Timer 2 years ago, I immediately bought 3 more. But I haven't used any but the original yet.

I always preferred a Hamilton beach over a mister twister

Just placed a order for this battery Bubba yesterday. My mister twister finally died on Sunday night,.

Looking forward to trying it out

Heavy duty Rapala is the best one I have found.

Order a new set of blades once a year.

I have tried several brands of the cordless and I don’t like any of them.
