Wanting to start an updated FFL Transfer fee list for others who are looking for current prices. The latest one went off-topic quick and didn't have much info on prices. Here are a few I checked with tonight:
Bowie Outfitters - $50
Hebert Guns - $50
Deep South Shooters - $15
Louisiana Gun & Reloading Supply - $30

Will update with more prices as I get replies.

Not in BR but I can tell I am going to hate a gun store just by them having a $50+ transfer fee

Never fails

Yet they probably spend all day bitching that people order online and go to a transfer only FFL.

I remember asking the gun store basically across the street from my work a few years ago for their info for a transfer and they might as well have just told me to go frick myself. It was a gun they did not even have in stock and could not get for months if they could at all.

And I was willing to pay more than just taking it to my usual guy.

So many gun places have the worst customer service in the world.

LA gun and reloaded supply.

I go to them. IDK how they stay in business. Don't look like they're selling much.

This can be said for a lot of business. I have given up on several small business lately due to poor customer service. Items that I figured I would pay a lil bit more but keep the money in a small mom and pop shop they failed.

im sure it is because they want to make the 20-30% markup instead of just 20 bucks to do the same paperwork. what they fail to realize is that they miss out on the upsell on ammo and accessories that they should have in stock and push when you make a sell.

I used Bayou Gunslingers in DS when I ordered my AR about a year ago. They were cheap, friendly and easy to deal with. In and out in about 15 minutes.

I'd like to know a cheaper place in Metairie. I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a coach shotgun.
