Former Bowie Outfitters owner faces 50 years in prison for fraud

Michael Allen Worley, 57, entered his plea to bank fraud and wire fraud before U.S. District Judge John W. deGravelles. Worley faces up to 50 years in prison and millions in fines and restitution.
“Mr. Worley executed schemes to fraudulently induce banks and private lenders into giving him millions of dollars, and used unwitting associates of his to assist him,” said U.S. Attorney Brandon Fremin in a statement released Monday.

This is welcome. The Perkins store is close to my home. I've gone in there over the years in a pinch to pick up a item or two (jig heads, popping corks, etc) ahead of a fishing trip only to be told they have them on order. Everything I've ever needed in the fishing dept was always on order. Pfft.

Haven't bought any accessories from them but did buy 2 rifles there. I shopped around and they were as low as anyone and they had them in stock. But that was more than 5 years ago when the Wormy dude owned it.
