A friends wants to know the average price per foot to install wood bulkhead.

I know every area is different and whatnot but a general price would be appreciated

Would that include any dirt work/fill dirt? Really doesn't seem too bad. I have a vinyl bulkhead, pier etc on the house I just bought but fixing to get a couple of estimates on a boathouse for a party barge. Thinking of getting pilings drove and build it myself. Any idea what prices I should expect to be getting on turnkey or just the pilings? Neighbor has one built (it was there when he bought his house). So I figure I'll just copy what he has. Roughly 14 ft by 24 ft. Eight pilings. No sides. False river. Thanks.

I think it would include the dirt work, but not the dirt. Unless you have a backhoe I don't know how you would install a bulkhead yourself you need to be able to push the post in, remove the dirt for tie backs, push in the bulkhead planks and replace the dirt. I have seen it done a number of times as they have installed it in my neighborhood
