Is this the correct spelling for the French word grobeck the bird that everyone loves to eat but it’s illegal to hunt?

We use the saying grosbeck similar to calling someone a couyon. It’s all in good fun when we are sitting around the fire.

Grosbeak (translates to large beak) is the name of a family of songbirds. Never heard of eating them.

Im not sure if it’s that little heron but I was a supper almost 20 years ago. They told me after I ate it what I was eating. Man I can tell that was some good stuff.

I can’t post it because I the only place I found it was a site where I had to pay for it. Im gonna wait til my ole lady gets home she is a tech freak. She will figure it out. The song is 12 days of Christmas by Robert Harris it’s a Cajun Christmas song.. it’s the correct lyrics but I think someone else had recorded it. Thanks for the prayers.
