Havoc, Ambush, or Edge Boats

Fixing to buy one of the new designed stat of the art aluminum boats that are somewhat catering to us Duck hunters/Fishermen....what are your thoughts on all three and does anyone here run one....They are fairly new so might not be as well known here. Anybody?

I've ridden in a Havoc and an Ambush. Both were awesome. Prodigy boats is another company worth looking at if you're looking for a custom performance aluminum boat. Any reputable custom boat manufacturer is going to give you a good product. I'd just go with the one that has the options you want for the best price.
I have a Phowler and I love it, but it's not intended to be all sleek like those boats.

Prodigy is just way too over priced and really don't offer anything to justify more than double what you can buy the other three for.

I'm not familiar with these new boats, but I will say this.
I never understood the allure of War Eagle boats. They are nice, but for a hunting machine I'd take an Alumaweld with a back bench, open floor, and a small casting deck for 1/3 the price all day.
Something like this with a 25 is all I need...

Don't have it anymore but my war eagle was a great boat, the 40hp Honda 4 stroke pushed it well. Sorry for the small pics - I have ridden in a 15ft Edge and it was very nice, very quick hull I think it also had a 40h Honda on the back.

I mean all three of the boats you mentioned are pretty expensive as far as aluminum boats go. I mentioned Prodigy because they're in the same category as the aforementioned as far as design goes. The only thing you're getting that differentiates them from other brands (Brother Breaux, Cottonmouth, Pro Drive, Phowler, etc.) is a more streamlined look, and even that's debatable. All of those boat companies will build you a custom boat to a certain extent.

I ran a 1442 Weldcraft with a 25 yammy through stuff that most guys wouldn't put a surface drive. That's all you need. My Phowler is much more versatile and has more features. It's got a poling platform, pirogue rack, extended deck, gunbox, trolling motor mount, lights, etc., but it's not necessarily a "better" boat.

Understand your Prodigy arguement... mine is price and performance...I can pick up any of the three I mentioned for 5500-6500 loaded out with options....Prodigy starts base model at 7200 and has no where near the engineering perfrmance
