Same here. Bayou black is literally covered with them most of the season. It was incredible last season especially. Several days they made most of our limit. Plus an arse ton of them are banded. So I finally got my first 2 bands last season. I know of at least 6 more bands that were killed within a couple miles of me.

And like others said, Excellent table fare. Breast is identical to teal or gallinue in color but twice the size of the teal. And massive legs by duck standards. Makes a fine Confit
