Put in an order for mine 3 weeks ago. Anyone else done the same? Decent boat for good price....$9995. Final cost out the door was $12601. Really like the retro look and the Pro 170 hull.

I got mine in a week ago order in December 2017.
Have a fiberglass boat for big water and wanted a smaller aluminum boat to bang around in stumpy places like woods at Old River or Spillway or Laccasine max hp 40 hp perfect boat. I also kept both boats under $30k. Fiberglass repowered and fixed up and this boat ready to go. My fathers express with 25 hp seen it’s better days.
Was looking for skinny boat to get in tight areas and it is the pro 170 hull with Pro 160 layout.

FYI take trollmotor to a minnkota shop and they will change the motor for $200 ballpark to give you a 12lb 55lb thrust over wanting it as an upgrade. You will appreciate this in the marsh.

I like the boat and for the money not a bad boat.

I get gps fairly loaded 34 mph max which is decent.

If you want a bigger boat Towm and Country in Trout, LA has 2017 alumacraft eith 60hp new $15,899 inice boat.

I just need boat with max 40 hp for laccassine.

I was at the boat show in Monroe yesterday and they had a Skeeter and a Ranger bass boat for $70k with 180 months at $500-560 a month. My bride could not believe they would finance for 15 years

No, they were riveted.

My dad had one and lasted him until the engine finally blew a rod in 1995. Price to repair or replace engine versus new boat did not justify keeping it. As far as leaking you might have had a red solo cup of water in it after a day af fishing when we sold it.

I paid cash for mine.
It looks they go 10 yrs financing that boat for people who want that option.

My opinion.
Pay $200 and have trollmotor shop replace the trollmotor motor to 12volt 55lb thrust motor. You will appreciate it and a warranty shop can do it and you will not lose your warranty.

Boat is ok for me.
They cut some things out versus pro 170.
If you want a rod locker and a nicer layout this boat is not for you.
For a person that just wants something decent, cheap on gas, does not carry a lot of tackle, and not on rough water it is a fine little rig.

The1860CC tracker is at a nice price, but a 40hp on the back.

My advice for carrying tackle on this boat.
Get Tupperware containers to keep stuff dry.

Get 5 basic rods that are versatile to keep rods down.
Mudhole tackle 5 most versitle rod sizes

This boat will suit guy trying to get into a boat in South Louisiana fine if you think out storage and tackle.

Enjoy old Milwaukee beer commercial showing old tracker boat on bedico Creek.

Bass Pro and Cabelas always advertise those underpowered rigs just to catch your eye. By the time you upgrade the motor, pay freight/prep, TTL, and trolling motor, you’re looking at another $6-7k at least. I priced one out not long ago.

Wasn't even bass pro or cabelas, it was a dealer in Hammond. However, I figured that is the case.

Mine took 6 weeks to come in.
I went to iindepent Dealer versus basspro , so I could use the gift card to get the stainless prop.
Basspro in Denham Springs, said I could not use the gift card to buy the stainless prop.

It does come with the boat cover.
My dealer forgot to give it to me and shipped it ups so I did not have to drive back to get it.

Didn't think about swapping prop with gift card. Good idea.

How has boat performed for you? Do you just bring an ice chest for drinks and stuff? Thinking about making custom chest for between driver/passenger seats.

Boat ok similar to 16 or 17 ft modified v flat that 48” to 52” wide boat. Nothing bad and nothing special it does ok!

I had boats this size for years so it nice boat for money. I compare it to 1991 fisher hawk bassboat with 40 hp Mariner.

I get in the middle 30’s around 34 to 35 max.
For a boat this size that is avg and get you around the spillway, Ruddock, Leesville on calm day, point au Chien, Old River Morganza, and great boat for Lacassine 40 hp max!

It does not have a bench seat like Pro 160 or 170.
It has two plastic containers under the seat so you have room in the middle to put an ice chest and make it a step. My 1991 Fisher Hawk had a livewell between the seats.

My beef is the rear had a lot of room for big 12 gallon gas taok. Most boats like this each battery is to the side and tank in the middle. This one has batteries in the middle which makes only room for 6 gallon to 9 gallon tank. Most my boats I run 2 - 6 gallon. If one tank is empty I know it is time to turn around.

Again these new 4-strokes are great on gas.

From compartment under deck ok for anchor and throwable life preserver and rope.

Livewell meh ok again this is an entry level boat.

Trollmotor pay $200 at trollmotor repair place and get bigger power head put on it so it can be a 12v 55 lb thrust trollmotor versus trying buy a bigger
trollmotor.

Trailer is ok I like swing away tongue for a boat this price.

Running lights components are plastic most boats even my 1991 fisher had stuff like this and my son still using the boat and lights work. I bought the boat New it has been a great boat and simple to fix.

Rear storage for stuff nicccceee.
Get Tupperware boxes to keep stuff water proof but nice good size.

Rod storage room for 4 or 5 rods which is not uncommon for a boat like this.

I think a young guy or someone that just wants entry level, low cost of ownership boat, that simple to repair (less stuff on boat less to break), and used the card for stainless prop will be happy!

A guy that will outgrow this boat they won’t like it or a tall and heavy set guy.

Good boat for the money for fishing around Baton Rouge.

This is me. Don’t own one yet and I’ve been looking used but given the price tag on this one it really catches my eye versus taking a risk of buying someone else’s old stuff.

Thoughts on the 40 for something like this?
