Well round-up has zero residual effect so there is that.

Look at AI. If they are both 41% glyphosate, they are the same thing so use whichever is cheaper.

Tom is right. Glyphosate (sp) is the active ingredient.

Some formulations have different surfactants in it. Making them better for certain weeds. But for fence lines and stuff should t make much difference.

Thanks guys.... Just trying to go the cheapest way to clean up fence lines and such. The killzall is 41% galifianakis and is half the price of round up. I just hope it last as long.

2-4D, off brand roundup from Walmart and a little diesel. Couple of sprayings and you are done.

Neither are going to last long, they are designed to kill what they touch but do not do anything to prevent new growth, now there are some products out there such as round up extended control that will help prevent new growth

Tigerpaw is correct. Glyphosate kills what it touches and may take 1-2 weeks depending on weather, weed size and weed type. It will not prevent anything from coming up. But a couple of sprayings back to back with a heavy rate may take care of a bunch of junk.

2,4-d is good on a lot of stuff but will murder any sensitive garden plants around, as will roundup with a wind.
