I’m in the market for a nice Honda Big Red 3 wheeler or a 250sx. What’s the going price on something really nice?

Go look up D&A Restorations on FB and message Travis.

Travis definitely has some trikes. May work a deal with him. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hope youll be leaning forward so you can steer soon lol
My dad welded an anvil onto the little front rack to aid in steering. Looked stupid but it worked.

Yeah I remember that, lol. I’m basically going to putt putt around on it. Hopefully gains in value even more.

I’ve seen a couple Big Reds on marketplace lately. Some fair priced, some way out of range.
If you’d get one from Travis it will be clean but bring your check book.

Jesus christ that's insane. It seemed like literally everyone had a big red back in the day. They were reliable but dangerous as hell.
Me and my father were not touchy feely. I'd be riding on the back and he would get in a bind needing more weight on the front. He would politely ask me to stand up and lean into his back so he could make the turn. Half the time I'd just get off the thing lol. That's why he stuck an anvil on the front.

A nice, all original is going to run you $3k or more these days. I still use mine some, but am careful not to crack the plastics or get stupid on it. They're definitely gaining value as they become more scarce.

I have a 1987 Big Red but it’s not that clean. I’d love to restore it but probably never will. We use it around the house a bit to keep it running.

I had a 250sx. kick start. It was fist ever atv.
Cold morning, wet boots, a couple wraps to the shin will make you worship the gods of electric start and fresh battery.

While on vacation I happened to find a really nice ‘85 Big Red….will post pics if I get it.

The big red ended up not being as nice as I hoped. I did pull the trigger on an ‘85 250sx, bought it from the original owner. Showroom condition.
