Honda Foreman ES, Rubicon, or Rincon?

Which one should I buy? Anyone have have any positives or negatives for them?

I have a Foreman ES. Solid bike. Heard good things about the Rubicon but in the end, they are all Hondas. Carry on with the purchase of any one of them.

Have a Foreman es for twelve years now, nothing but oil changes and one spark plug change thus far .
Have a neighbor who has a rubicon with ~ 18,000 miles on it. the neighbor does not take care of it to say the least. I am impressed that thing is still going strong

I have or had a Rincon 680, I left at my best friends house in Texas 2 years ago. It's a great bike for trial ridding and hunting. The only negative about the Rincon is if you want to mud ride real serious is that it doesn't have a low gear.

My 98 Forman 450 ES will go through anything I put it in and I have personally climbed a tree with it.
However, I have to change the damn angle sensor and ES motor every season. Honda ES is well known for this flaw.

Not that it matters here but fuel injected is much better for cold weather high altitude. My buddy had a rancher with a carb and I had a Rincon with fuel injection, every morning he had trible starting his and mine would start right up.

Love my rubicon, wasn't sold on the automatic until I drove one then I was sold.
When I was looking, I was comparing the rubicon vs the rincon. The lady at honda of natchez helped a lot. I wanted to disc food plots and have a working bike. She said the rubicon was better bc of the solid rear axle whereas the independent axle on the rincon was more of a pleasure bike for trail riding.

Are you going to put larger tires on it...if so, ditch the rincon and rubicon, not worth the headache.
If you want mechanical drive, Honda S is the way to go.
But why anyone would pick one over a 550/700 grizzly is beyond me.

it will mainly be used to go back and forth to the stand, and riding around scouting, and sometimes haul 300 lbs of corn and fill feeders. Not going to lift or snorkel.

Then get the Rincon. Rincon is a better trial bike and quicker than the other two.

The non overhead cam honda engines are not quite as durable as the yamaha versions. The yamaha fuel injection systems have kess issues. The honda straight axle rear ends have always had water entrance issues.
Add in the yamaha typically has more power per cc...and their constant tension belt drives are the best design on the market.
To clarify, I had a 300 Honda and then switched to an 800 Polaris because Im a maintenance freak anyways.
Both the honda and yamaha bikes are good, but the yamaha is a few years ahead currently, sad but true.
I have my 1980s Honda, and a 300 Honda. Sold my Polaris after 3500 trouble free miles because I wasnt riding.
Honest answer, for what youre doing, a 450 grizzly would be a better fit.
If you have to have a honda...500s or 420s.
Keep the ES stuff...it isnt worth the trouble.
