HONEY ISLAND SHOOTING RANGE WILL BE OPENED TO SHOOTERS STARTING FRIDAY 4/15/16
We first gained access to the range on Monday 4-4-16. Since that day the range has been swarmed by volunteers.
We recovered tables, benches, etc from all over the range and down stream (by flat boat).
Here's a picture taken 4/2 from the parking area, looking towards the range. Just beyond those two yellow poles is the bridge that crosses Indian Bayou, covered by about a foot of water.
Electronic throwers were rebuilt along with some concrete shooting benches.
It was a massive effort by our great RSO's and others.
COME VISIT AND HAVE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE SHOOTING EXPERIENCE!!!
NOTICE!!!
We are conducting a M1 GARAND CLINIC ON MEMORIAL DAY 5-30-16.
This is golden opportunity to learn how and shoot this great firearm. Also, upon completion you will be qualified to purchase CMP RIFLES, ammo and gear.
To sign up for this clinic please download an application from our web page. https://honeyisland.org
