Need to pick some up today and gonna boil em up tomorrow. Can I just leave them at room temp in the garage in an ice chest?

Ice in the bottom of chest with drain open. Put a towel or burlap over ice then add crabs.

Yep and iced crabs keep their claws when they are boiled...

Yes, wash them first then ice then as they said. This will keep their claws on.

Don't ice the crabs. If it is too cold it can kill them. Keep them cool and put wet burlap or wet newspaper over them to keep them moist.

Is there a limit to how deep you can stack 'em in an ice chest? Will the ones towards the bottom end up dead?
