How do Lucchese fit compared to Ariat

Country Outfitter has a nice little sale going on and I'm thinking about picking up some Lucchese or Justins. Currently have Ariats but their sizing is strange compared to other shoes/boots I have.
I don't think I'll have time to hit a boot store to try on sizes this week and would rather purchase online for ease.

Get Lucchese Classics from an authorized dealer and they will trace your foot and send it to Luchesse to be handmade. That's what I did.

I have tried on several pairs of Ariats and never liked the way they fit
I love my Justin's

I can't buy a pair of boots without trying them on
I have 4 pairs of luchesses and they're not all the same size

What kind of sale? I'm looking to get a pair of Ostrich for Xmas.

I wear 13's in Ariat, others, including tony lamas are 12.5's..

I wear the same size in both. I still wouldn't be comfortable buying a pair without trying them on first

I wear a 12 D in my pair of Ariats, a 12 EE in one pair of Tony Lamas, a 12 D in another pair of Tony Lamas and an 11 EE in my pair of Lucchese. It depends.

Mime ran small compared to my ariats. I bought off sheplers and their return policy cannot be beat. Luckily, I did not have to return.

I was thinking about buying online because price was cheaper, but just couldn't bring myself to buy shoes sight unseen. It is just a dumb move.
FWIW, I wear a 12EE in most Red Wings, an 11.5E in an old pair of Lamas, and a 11D in my current pair of Justin's. Way too much variation there

Damn, that's exactly how mine run too!
I wouldn't try this on my exotics, but, what I do with all my cow leather boots is fill them with water and walk em dry. Usually takes a couple of applications of this. Once the leather has conformed to your foot, throw the lanolin or mink oil to em, then hit them with boot polish and you are good to go.
That's how I break in a new pair of boots in one day. You will also have to manipulate to soles by hand.

Lucchese's will usually run small and be a little tighter on my foot compared to my Ariats.

This. Once you buy a pair of Lucchese, you won't buy anything else.

Are my Timberland Pro steel toe work ropers a fashion faux pas nowadays? They have round toes.

best look IMO. Never have liked square toe boots or the cock roach killer look.
