How many lbs of corn will fill a 35g drum?

I think whole corn is about 5-6lbs/gal. My old man always said a 5 gal bucket was "almost 30 lbs", and he doesn't really talk unless he's saying something he knows.

4ea (50lb) bags. Maybe half of a 5th bag and sling the rest on the ground... That's what I do anyways.

I put two 100lb bags of it for my chickens and it's almost full. I'm pretty sure it's a 35g drum.

I do have a few plastic drums if anybody wants to buy them. I think I have 4 35gal and 1 or 2 55 gal drums. What I do is cut the end off and then cut a piece of 3/4" plywood for the top. Keeps bugs/rain out good.
