Previous owner left a 50' shipping container on my property. I don't want it.
What's the best way to get rid of it?

clean harbors will probably remove it...or your buddies with a hunting camp

Where is it located and what kind of shape is it in?

What GS3 said, but don’t listen to him, I have a better home for it, you can’t just give those things to anybody

hahahh. You can have it. I need 2 twenty footers.
I do have a number for a guy in Gonzales that can haul the 50' though.

sell it. I hope to one day build a fishing camp out of shipping containers. People even build pools out of them now.

Put it on Craigslist or FB marketplace, someone will probably give you high three figures or low four figures for it if they can transport it.

I’d like to have it if not rotted out.

We had 3 on a property we just bought. Posted 2 of them on marketplace on FB for $2000 each and sold them in under a week. Fella with a flatbed came scoop them up.

Someone will buy it. They are supposed to be vermin proof.

Maybe it's better to bury it and convert it into a shelter.

Most are and last a good while. We use one to store our duck hunting stuff in. Decoys, 4 wheeler, fake grass for blinds etc. It eventually got a small hole in the corner and rats got in. Rat snake found them quick and has been our rent free resident for a couple of years until someone killed it last weekend

Call a company that is in the business. Give it to them free. Call a recycling company; tell them it's free if they haul if off.

Tell that to the 1000s of cat sized rats that live in all of the ones we have in our yard at work! I’m in industrial construction so we have a ton of them in our yard out back. They are full of rats….full of them!

You have to shut the door. Didn't your mom tell you that when you were a kid?
