I've only ever seen that brand at golf courses. Most commercial guys buy Scag, Exmark, Hustler, Ferris, Grasshopper, Gravley, etc

I cut about 3 acres and bought the Scagg Cub over 10 years ago, been a fantastic purchase.

Has gease fittings all over including the spindles and has the Kawi motor. Only expense has been batteries, oil changes, filter changes, and blades.

I know it's not one of your two choices, but it gets my vote for sure.

I agree scagg a lot better unit than the gravely or hustler.

On the dealer side hustler is the entry level line where gravely always has been a better line. I have also had less gravely's come back compared to hustler for major service on the transmissions in the first two years. I hate that they put the smallest hydro gear transmissions they can get away with. That why I feel I saw more warranty claims with them. Two major cost on a zero turn is your transmission and engine.

110% Easier to deal with Gravely and husqvarna been another great company on warranty claims. They have always been great about helping customers in goodwill claims ( when warranty just expired) or the claim is questionable.

MeauxJeaux saying gravely is Mtd is incorrect. Coming from an a clown that knows nothing about Ope you get responses like that.

Husqvarna owns Ariens that owns Gravely.

My bad in calling it an MTD.

i bought a hustler raptor limited a few months ago. been good to me so far for $3k. basically a raptor with upgraded tires, seat, and engine guard.

i've enjoyed it so far. Was planning on getting a small commercial mower, but i just couldnt pull the trigger on a $6k mower for an acre and a half.

I bought a Gravely 42 ZTR, residential model in 2011. I have about 150 hrs on the Kawasaki motor and I think it's starting to burn a little oil. No real smoke, except on start I might get a puff. I'll check the oil before every mow, and it'll be down to the "add" mark on the dipstick. I'll add enough to take it almost to the "full" mark.

I'm kinda pissed, because I bought it due to the Kawa motor.

Been looking at them. Those two are not on the buying list. Not much better then the ones sold at Home Depot.

Gravely is MUCH better than the crap at HD. It's a pretty good machine, IMHO.

this is one beast of a mower. Have cut on one numerous times. Insane deal if you're in the area.

$3600 and will probably come down a bit on price.

If you have that in cash go look at Dixie Chopper, they have zero down zero interest for 48 months. I just bought my second one.
