Recently when I have been trying to engage the blades on my mower it will die. Runs fine outside of that. Looks like the deck belt may be a little loose and read that could possibly cause power loss. Other than that and the safety switch under the seat, any other possible ideas on whats going on?

Take the belt off and spin all the deck pulleys to see if the bearings roll smoothly. If the bearings are good it's probably a fuel issue. Starving for fuel when you need power to the deck.

Well, I feel like an idiot. The ignition was getting stuck in the start position. Once I moved it back to the run position and tried to engage the blades it worked fine. Live an learn I guess.
