Is there a suppressor that I can use on 9mm but will also handle pressures from 5.56?

And also 300BO, and 7.62? Most 9mm suppressors I seem to see indicate they’ll only handle 300BO subsonic. I’m not totally knowledgeable on the technicals of suppressors but that indicates to me it wouldn’t be suitable to the higher pressures of 5.56 right? Trying to not have to buy multiple cans and 9mm will be the primary caliber I use it with. I know suppressors for “bigger” calibers work less well with “smaller” calibers than a can designed specifically for that caliber. But it’d be nice to have a versatile suppressor to use on any of my guns.
Also anything that can screw onto a proprietary muzzle device so I can just plug and play would be a nice bonus.

Currently have a Griffin Armament Bushwacker 46 in ATF jail that will do all your asking.

I’ve used mine on 9mm, 5.56, 300BO and .308. It’s worked great for each application.
I have appropriate ASR muzzle devices for every rifle and pistols are direct thread, so it’s basically plug and play (pistol with a piston like ChatRabbit says below).
If I was starting today, I would use the DeadAir KeyMo mount and mounting devices on all of my rifles. It would cost me over $1,000 to switch from ASR to KeyMo now.

If the 9mm is a pistol, you need a piston system. The only thing plug and play (like a muzzle brake) for pistols right now is griffin cam or ez lok. For your rifles, you can do the brake thing. Direct thread is better for most people though on rifles. Weighs less, costs less, more simple, shorter, and minimal tolerance stacking. Everybody thinks they want QD but all you need is direct thread mounts. Get something like liberty precision or rearden mfg where it has wrench flats so you can torque it to your rifles. Properly torqued, that silencer won’t go anywhere on your semi auto rifles. As far as specific silencer, the omega 36m is very good and will do what y of want. You can do a hybrid or a 46m but the 36m will sound better on 9mm.

I have 2 griffin optimus modular cans
They go from .17hmr/.22 all the way up .30 calibers...300 30-06 308 etc.

KeyMo appears to be a true one-hand on/off as opposed to the ASR with the locking ring, which I’ve had a trouble removing the suppressor even after letting it cool for a while. Removing a warm to hot suppressor with ASR is a no-go.
That’s not a big deal if you’re using it with one rifle or firearm per range session. But if you’re switching it between multiple firearms, it’s a bitch to wait forever then hope it’s cool enough that the ring will unlock.

This is something I wish I would have done instead of spending so much on brakes/flash hiders.

Trifecta maad mount was the way to go. They were stupid for dropping that system.

I think that DeadAir designed the KeyMo mount as an improvement to fix problems experienced with the Trifecta MAAD mount.

Maad was launching a lot of silencers. Mike Pappas perfected it at dead air. That said, Keymo is so stupid heavy. The system plus a brake adds like 7 or 8 oz. You really don’t need it. I don’t think anybody here can tell you a time when they need to quickly attach a silencer and especially not quickly detach one. QD is one of those things that everyone thinks they want but they just haven’t thought about why. Seriously, for 99% of the population, you will want direct thread.

Listen to the rabbit. QD just adds weight and length... and cost. Every fifth can is free when you ditch QD.
You're not going to spend a day at the range swapping hosts. New can owners don't realize how stupid hot those things get and how quickly. If you're just going to swap between hosts before you go out, a torque wrench is all you need to swap hosts and make sure it's secure and doesn't launch downrange.

Oh I get it. Ive never had an issue with my mounts.
I did switch most of my guns over to the area 419 system so I could use their brake when not using the suppressor. Its a neat little system.
And I use a cover on mine. Aint nobody got time to let that stuff cool.

The counter id make to this is the guy who has 1/2 x 28 and 5/8 x24 hosts and wants to swap between rifles.
I’ve been happy with the Q Plan B / Cherry Bomb setup. Light weight and crazy simple

Just get a silencer that uses 1.375x24 rear ends (there are a ton) and switch the rear. It's better. The cherry bomb doesnt even have wrench flats so if the device gets stuck in the plan B, it is very difficult to take out.

Yankee Hill Machine (YHM) R9 is what you are looking for and is by far the best bang for your buck. They cost around $400 plus tax stamp …YHM builds solid suppressor’s, I have their 30 cal Resonator and it’s awesome
