ISO flat back pirogue

buddy is looking for a flat back fiberglass pirogue to bring to arkansas. any recommendations? new or used, preferably north shore area. I've been out of the area for a while, so i thought this might be a good place to ask

i know not north shore, but Bowie's on Perkins had atleast 1 flat back last week.

Ron Chapman makes a flatback and they're in Chalmette. I'd give them a call and see what they have in stock.

Bayou Rapides fiberglass - looks like Bowies is a dealer. Check Puglia's, too. They used to have a stack of boats yrs ago.

My first came from there around 1982, $100 cash money. Was the first year after irs clamped down, had cereal #’s on it. Their glass pits are the bomb also.

They're tough boats but feel like paddling a sheet of plywood after paddling a Chapman copperhead.

Look on facebook marketplace. Saw a local listing for two of them yesterday. Guy was asking 400 for both or 225 each I believe. Don't remember his name though.

i looked on marketplace as well, couldn't find either. oh well. thanks everybody, i think he may have something going with bayou, so maybe he's good to go
