Looking for Recommendations for a White Perch/Crappie/Sacalait Guide on Toledo Bend

I'm looking for recommendations for a white perch guide for this summer. Probably 6-8 guys total, but possibly as few as 4. Want to go two days, a Saturday and Sunday probably.
I've only had guides for saltwater and offshore, so I'm not sure how many guys can fish in one boat, or the type of boats these freshwater guys have. Do some of the guides use two boats?
Recommendations and opinions would be appreciated.
Once we pick a guide and I know what area of the lake we will be launching from, I will look to reserve a cabin/camp somewhere near there. So recommendations for that as well would be appreciated.

Living the dream did us well the few times we went. I forget the guys name, but he had us on fish all day. Everyone had a blast.

Bob Laroux
318-332-0121
But do it soon as he stays booked up well in advance.
Best, most personable guide on the lake

Some of these guys will take up to 12 per boat big party barges.
Very few of these capts have a 6 pack license or follow coast guard regs.

Want to do something similar for me and my boys. What time of the year is ideal to load the freezer?
Would love the chance at them catching something to mount as well.

What is that?
And to Splack: I dont really white perch fish regularly, but I was told April-June.

I start really slaying crappie in April. But I'm not sure if white perch are the same thing as crappie. I've never heard anyone call them that or the French word sacalait, I'm pretty sure that's the same as a crappie.

George Jeane. Launches at pirates cove

Lowest coast guard license you can have.
Its why most small charters can only have 6 clients on them.
If you were use to saltwater charter fishing then the guides follow different rules.

We had at least 8 both times.
One time they took us out on 2 different boats, but we had like 14 people

I would also recommend Bob Laroux. I've been with him several times and always do well. They fish out of pontoon boats and use livescope over the brush piles. He also fries some sacalait on the boat for lunch. They launch at different areas of the lake. Sometimes in LA and sometimes in TX. They usually don't know very far in advance where they will launch on any given day. They switch up so they don't hit the same area many days in a row. If you call to book today he will not know where he will be launching from. May and June are the most consistent 2 months of the year but you almost need to book a year in advance to get a day during those months. You'll need to book your cabin/camp soon as well.

Hold up. A white perch is used to describe both a white crappie and a black crappie? What kind of sorcery is this?

Another big factor on where they launch from each day is the wind. It can get very rough on Toledo Bend when the wind kicks up. They try to pick an area of the lake to fish that will be most protected from the wind on that day. I have been with LTD(living the dream) guide service as well and they are good but they are probably the most expensive guide service on the lake. You pay for the name. I haven't checked prices lately but Bob Laroux was definitely less expensive but he doesn't clean the fish. He had a young man that would clean them for you for like $50 for 75 fish but still cheaper than LTD who cleans them for you.

So out of the three yall recommended, only Living the Dream got back to me and they were booked that weekend. I reserved a spot with Bent Rods because they offer a similar price, and multiple boats because there will be 14 of us total. Hopefully we rip some lips.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

And all panfish are "bream". That's just how it works.

There’s a reason LTD was booked. They are terrific. Have made May or June trips every year for the past several years, and have had great trips each time.
