Does anyone have any idea of the value of a 5 foot finishing mower. It is made by modern manufacturing and probably 6-8 years old.

At that age, probably not worth much.

Check out the finish mowers at Tractor Supply.

The Modern ones aren't bad- I set up a grey market tractor's lift arms for one about a month ago. It looked to be really well made.

With that said, because Modern is known for their badass big mowers and not as a finishing mower co., it's value branded as Modern is less than a Woods or LandPride. I think you'd be lucky to get more than $300 bucks for it.

Now, as a side note- Modern makes all the Case IH and New Holland branded mowers now- if you happen to have one of those, it's probably worth more. Funny how that works!

And to the guy who said Tractor Supply....have you actually looked at that crap? They carry the most cheaply made line of implements on the planet. I don't think they'd even know how to hook up the 20' Super Predator that Modern makes- and that they warrant for 10 years.

To make me laugh even more- they just opened up a Tractor Supply near my house (Houma)...on about 15 things I checked the first day, they were more expensive (by a long shot) than the local feed store in Raceland.
