$82k is a typo, right?
Probably not, take a look at some Krieghoff or Perazzi
shotguns. Really an eye opening experience as to how the other side lives.

I shoot with some sporting clays groups that swing Kreighoff super scrolls, perrazis, etc.
Pretty crazy what old guys with a shite ton of money and time will drop on a scatter gun.

They did have one that was over 100k if I remember correctly.

Not a bad pickup at that. Might grab it for a pirogue backup to my trusty 870.

You could buy 10 Barrett 50 cals for that

Went by the Purdy showroom in London. Went late one afternoon and I was the only person in there with the sales rep. Told him I was just dropping in to live vicariously. Nice guy. Talked to me for around 30 minutes. Showed me some of the "best" guns. Had some waiting to be picked up that were over $100000. These sxs guns were works of art.

Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s fitted for the individuals and stock picked by individual and even engraved per individual and the gun is built by a craftsman from start to finish ?!?
An 82k$ beratta is just assembly line built with the same materials as the low end guns with engraving and higher end wood?!?
If I had 82k to spend on that beratta I would save for another month and buy a pair of H&Hs

An $82k beretta is a typo.
The highest dollar one I ever put my hands on was a double rifle that belonged to royalty in Europe somewhere. IIRC it was listed for $75k. When you snapped it shut the whole reciever and barrels looked like one piece of metal, it was beautiful

I worked at Cabelas on the gun counter in 2009-2010 and a guy brought in a 600 Nitro Express to sell. He said he paid over 200k for it new

My son and I drove over to the side by side spring classic shotgun event in North Carolina this year. There were thousands of Sxs shotguns laid out in tents. Vendors had traveled there from all around the country. There were shotguns from a couple of thousand to $100k plus laid out for examination.

I was out at the gun club in Port Allen one afternoon when someone was getting fitted for a new Purdey. There was a guy there from the UK using a "try-gun" fitter to take his measurements. pretty neat.
