This would be for rifle hunting. I see the $500-600 set ups out there but I don't see any need to spend that much with so many other functional and safe options out there. Trying to spend less than $350 total and 15' up in the air is fine. Any advice is much appreciated.

I have one of these and really like it alot. We wrap it using a mesh camo material and zip ties, they also sell a tent top, but i know someone who has one and said it didn't last.

Quad Pod Link

The Quad Pod was the model I was looking at but didnt want to mention it in my post. Wanted an unbiased opinion. Saw some negative reviews about the roof w/ the cover. I'll grab some camo netting from the co-op and go the zip tie approach and save 100 bucks.

I like it a lot, it's on sale now too. We take the seats in each fall and store in the barn to keep out of the weather. I may pickup another one while on sale for a future spot.

This one is different than the one I have, it looks like two separate seats, mine is a single post with two seats. Not sure if they changed anything else or not, if they didn't you'll like it. If i knew how to post a photo on here i'd put one of my son out cold snoring in it from 2 years ago. It's comfortable.

We've been using a pop-up blind on a Quad Pod base with the chair removed and it's worked great. you have to put something solid like plywood on the floor of it or a heavy wind will ruin it. and you have to tie the side grounds to something further out to the side like a tree, bush, etc. If you tie them strait down to the frame or ground the wind will blow the side in and can cause damage. Just make sure the blind's footprint is the same size or a little smaller than the base.

That's with the rail removed too. not sure if a popup would fit with it on. the one we used was damaged so we just removed rail and seats.

I have 3 of these. They are more expensive but they are so well built it' s the only one that I trust with my son and nephew climbing.

We are looking at millenniums because of the build quality and less moving parts. And the seat. And the lack of weight.

Wish they made a good old school welded 12’ stand

Find the most comfortable stand that fits your budget then zip-tie a burlap sack around it to conceal you. Unused oyster sacks have always worked the best for me as they are thicker material than the cheap camo mesh you get from Walmart/academy. Can add some spray paint to the sack to break up the color.

Millennium is the best, hands down, I’ve tried them all and it’s the best
