I'm looking at getting a suppressor for my .308 TC Venture. Any suggestions?

I am extremely happy with my trash panda. I would also look at dead air nomad ti
There’s a few ways you can go. Light and small. Big and quiet. Heavy and robust. I don’t recommend heavy and robust because aside from people with full autos it’s a waste. Unless you shoot subsonics a lot I can’t say I would recommend big and quiet because with supers no matter what it will still be “loud”. So I go with light and small.
Quick detach vs direct thread is personal but I went quick detach to give me the most flexibility

I have 2 silco omegas that I really like. You can get a Q cherry bomb brake and adapter for the Omega. Great setup and super light for a can.

If going the omega route I agree the plan b and cherry bomb is a must

I have a Q thunder chicken that I really like. Also have a Dead Air Sandman and while it is a very good can I would probably point you in another direction as it's built for a different type of use.
Like Timmayy said, also look that the DA Nomad
Two more to consider are CGS Hyperion and also the Thunderbeast.

I have a trash panda on my 300 BO that I really like. Now I have a thunder chicken in ATF jail for a cripplemore build. I was really torn between the thunder chicken and sandman s and went with the Q can bc it was lighter

What are your priorities? Quietest in the world is the CGS Hyperion. Hyperion K is very quiet and light too for its size. I have their Helios QDTi. It's as quiet as a TBAC ultra 9 but shorter. All depends. The Q stuff is good on subsonic but mediocre on supersonic. SiCo Omega is still good.

I have a trash panda. I use it on my .300blk, 7mm08 and 6.5 grendel.
My pig hunting buddy uses a hyperion. Sounds the same as my trash panda to the naked ear when both shooting the 6.5. Good suppressor.
I have the plan B and have used another buddy's omega 300 on my .300blk. I like the trash panda better.
He uses the omega 300 on his .308. It's a little louder than my Grendel/trash panda but thats to be expected.

thats what i have, it's pretty lightweight and i like the mount. primarily use it on a 7.39x39 and it makes a massive difference in report without too much change in point of impact
plus i think its a bit cheaper than the others mentioned here

I’m planning on doing my NFA purchasing in the early part of next year. There is little doubt I will buy something other than a thunder chicken.

I have Dead Air Nomad 30 and love it… sounds great on 308, 300blk, 5.56 etc.

Q cans are great on subs. The full nelson is probably the quietest can I've heard on subsonic .300blk. On Super they definitely get outclassed by other designs. Depends what your use case is. I am not a fan of Q products though. They are economically made and do not feel like quality items.

Contact Rumble Wepnz in Milton FL for a custom build. Ask for Howard Mahute.

That is a dumb idea.

Dumb question but I’m a noob. Is a suppressor on a rifle round like 308 worthwhile? It’s still going to be loud as hell right?

Omega +1 but it's all I know. I run it on a SBR 300blk. Put it on the SCAR17 a few times takes the boom right out but still has the supersonic crack. I just leave it on the 300blk it's a fun rifle.
Edit: I only run subsonic in the 300blk

It will still be loud but you won’t need hearing protection which is the main thing for me.
