Yeah, I've seen White Oaks guy pimping those for a while. That's quite a price point for a brand new product.

These wader prices are getting to be ridiculous! They all made at the same plant in China for the most part for pennies on the dollar. More than likely they will all leak in 3-4 years!

For a new product that’s kind of a high price. At least when Sitka came out with there’s they already had skins in the game so u knew what kind of product u we’re going to get!

Shite, it’s hard to find a pair that don’t leak after a year, and a pair that actually feel good while wearing them.
I have already received mine and they are by far the best fitting and most comfortable I have ever owned. I hunt around 40 times a year, so I usually go through a pair a year.

Man I thought Simms fishing waders were high livin'

I will say I have never thought to myself "I wish I would have paid less" on a pair of good waders.

I think all these companies know that people will pay crazy prices for waterfowl gear, and gear in general.

Big Honker podcast interviewed the owner of Chene and their reasoning is most waders are $200-300 and you may get a season or 2 out of them. So if you can get 5 seasons out of these you come out ahead. I'll stick with my $120 Magellans from academy

I’m going to have to check out that podcast. I honestly don’t see them lasting 5 seasons.

I won't pay that price but I know a guy that will. Last deer season he had on about $3k worth of Sitka to go sit in a heated box stand.. I'm sure he'll get these

Good reply. Lol
Hey I spent 400$ on a badlands hiking bag for packing put game on public land. I never thought I would drop that money on a hunting bag. But it is worth every penny. Leaking waders are miserable.

On a slightly similar topic, Just got a pair of dans hunting gear hip waders with the 5 star chap material. It’s no $1000 pair of chest waders but I am thoroughly impressed with them. Wish I would have swapped from lacrosse along time ago.

In all honesty, you usually get what you paid for. I’m not saying you have to buy top of the line shite, but usually the higher dollar shite is better than the cheap. That goes for anything from underwear to tractors.
