Someone help me out here...I have a titan and just bought a trailer to haul atv/utv and other things. My truck came wired supposedly except for 2 or 3 relays that go inside my fuse box. I have gone to the local autozone with no help there as they didnt know what I was talking about. I tried reading about it on Titan Forums but cant get a handle on exactly what Im lacking. All I know is its 2 or 3 blue relays so I was hoping someone here has a titan and knows what the hell Im talking about. TIA

Don't have a titan. Did you try calling the dealerhship and seeing if they know? Have you ever hooked the truck up to a trailer before?

I took mine to Central Hitch on Airline and they couldn't figure out my Titan either (and they are the ones who installed my towing kit).

All of my lights work except the left turning signal. They told me to take it to the dealership.

Their is some type of strange fuse relay under your hood in that fuse box. The folks at Central Hitch said they go out pretty regularly on Titans (and they're like $40).

Yes I have hooked up a trailer. With my lights on in my truck...the running lights will work on trailer but no turn signal or brakes. I will call the dealership soon but dont really know what Im asking for thats why I was hoping someone here knew

Let me know what you find out. My left turn signal still doesn't work on any of my trailers. I figured I'd just roll with it like that though.

I would tell the dealership exactly what you posted above. It's probably something common.

I have the exact opposite problem.

My brake lights and turn signals work, but no running lights.

Paw has checked every fuse and checked the adapter. Don't know what else it could be.

not if the brake light and turn signals work (assuming they are teh same bulb)

Back in 04 or 05 Nissan issued a recall on this issue. If you look under your dash just to the right of the steering column you may see a little white box about 1" by 1". Inside that box there are two 10 amp fuses.

The path to the trailer running lights is as follows:
Fuse #32 (10A) check that fuse is hot on both sides.
Trailer relay #1 (blue) pin #3 is hot at all times; pin #1 is hot with truck parking lights on; pin #2 is ground; pin #5 is hot with truck parking lights on.
Continuity from pin #5 on tow relay #1 to pin #7 on trailer plug at rear of truck.

From what I remember, there are a set of relays that have to be plugged into the wiring harness located under the kick panel on the Nissans.

yes......

My brother has a simular problem with his Chevy. I think its the plug itself. The factory one on the truck side.

Not a problem. Just curious if I can find out if someone knows. I know for sure it has something to do with relays
