Patio concrete sweating

Our patio has always "sweated" and this spring I am finally going to try and fix it.
Does anyone have any recommendations on products, procedures, tips or tricks?
Seems like everything I Google is just a particular brands blog post about why their product is best.
TIA

Run a steam trace through the slab to keep it warm

2 rules of concrete in the south: It’s going to crack and it’s going to sweat. Not much you can do about the sweating other than provide a vapor barrier under the slab (which any contractor who knows anything would have already done) or move your slab to Montana. There are also surface epoxys and coating you can try to stifle the sweating. But that’s about it. Pay no attention to others who may pop in here with differing opinions. For they are grossly ignorant on the subject.

Thanks. The house as built in 71 and I have no idea if it has a vapor barrier. There are a range of products out there that Rande from $20/gal to $90/gal.
This all started when my wife said she wants to paint the patio.
Home ownership!!

Absolutely not!! You will be painting again, and again, and again! Tear it out, put in colored concrete. Will cost more, but you will enjoy the results.

Everybody put a bucket on concrete

you’re a riot. Why do they put visqueen under concrete?
Posted on 2/13/18 at 7:20 pm to LSURoss

The moisture is coming from the top not the bottom
On a slippery scale it would be somewhere between otter snot and that shite Chevy Chase sprayed on his sled if you put a coating on it
