Pistol Recommendations - Glock vs Sig

I've always shot S&W, but I'm looking at either a Glock 19 or a Sig Sauer P320. I've held both, drawn both, and am planning to go rent both at a range nearby to get some rounds through each to digest, but was hoping for any pros/cons by owners on the board.
The Sig felt really good in my hand, but I worry about the recall a few years back and I'm curious if any of those issues still persist, since the Glock is practically indestructible from a historical standpoint. Any reviews are much appreciated.
Also, my budget is between $600 and $800, so if there are any other suggestions, I'm all ears!

Out of those I would go with the Sig. I like the M&P pistols and have mostly those. Honestly, the polymer guns in the $600-$800 ranges are mostly good and you really can't go wrong these days. I mean unless you end up with an LEM HK or something...

Sig 320 is a great gun. All the bad reports have seemed to gone away the last few years. You can't go wrong with either though. Personally I would go with the 320 and throw a Keres trigger in it ($96.00).

If you have shot the S&W a lot then the grip angle that you are used to will line up better with the Sig.
The grip angle on the Glock is unlike other pistols.
That being said, shoot them both and see which you shoot better.
Also look at the H&K VP9 and the Walther PPQ, both of these have better triggers than the Glock or Sig.

If both are equal to you, I'd go with Glock. You can find aftermarket mags for way cheaper than Sig and accessories galore.

P320X end of conversation

The 320 XFive Legion is a top notch pistol. I hate the 320 frames but the Xfive's tungesten infused variant is great
I'd go with that or a VP9 or MP2.0

The time at the range will tell you all you need to know. Take the one that fits like it was made for your hand and points the most naturally.
I think this is the answer.
Also, when you say 320, that can mean M17, M18, 320X Compact, 320X Carry, etc., so you have a few more options to look at.
I put a flat trigger on my M17 and love it.
Good luck and enjoy!

The best full size 9mm on the market right now is the Walther PDP. It's in your budget.

I lean towards the G19 out of those two. You may want to try a Glock G45 also. Same slide as G19 but on a G17 frame so little longer pistol grip.

So you are looking compact size? Other than what you've mentioned and in that price range... VP9-B, CZ P10C, S&W 2.0C and if you want to be under budget... the Canik TP9 Elite Combat.

Always this, but its cool to have options now.
Glock 19 is my pick.

Sig gets my vote. I have a few. No jams ever.

I was only able to get my hands on the G19 to shoot today. The only thing similar (term used loosely) to the P320 was a Wilson Arms, which is way outside of what I want to spend
. The Glock was nice, it felt pretty comfortable, and I'm sure it was the arm pump I got about an hour before from running the snowblower, but I was pulling about 40% of my shots to the left. Not by much, but that's on me and my trigger finger, so I'm not giving it much thought.
I'm hoping to find somewhere else to shoot the Sig, but my angel of a wife said she didn't care if I got both
Thanks for all the info from everyone!

I've got a carry (M&P Shield), but I was wanting another 9mm in either full size or compact.

M&P 2.OC is not a Shield or even Shield Plus. The 2.0C w/Holosun optic is legit!
