Poa Annua Problem in Centipede

Since the flood, I have a Poa Annua problem in my Centipede. I sprayed Certainty yesterday and wondering if I need to do anything else. I also had some sedge so hopefully it takes care of that. I had already sprayed Weed Free Zone twice to kill the dollarweed. If I finally get rid of the Poa Annua then I will start trying to tackle the Crabgrass and Dallisgrass.
Bootlegger: Can I go ahead and fertilize now? I have some Fertilome 15-0-15 ready to spread but I was trying to kill most of these weeds first.

Poa will die back with the summer heat here shortly. You can treat it with a pre-emergent later in the summer/early fall before it germinates if you notice it hanging around.

As stated above, the poa will die off soon. Spray your yard with Simazine around Thanksgiving this fall to prevent it from coming up. It's getting time to fertilize, IF you have the bulk of your weed and fungal issues under control. I'm still battling with some brown patch in my lawn.

I have the dollarweed under control but not the Poa or the Crabgrass. I have so much Poa that I'm not sure how much Centipede I even have left. May have been better to just re-sod.

What do you do for this?

It is caused by a fungus, so fungicide is the answer. I have had good success with thiophante-methyl (granule) and chlorothalonil (dry flowable).

Let the poa die out then see what you are working with. Don't get too discouraged. Crabgrass is also best controlled with pre-emergents, but sethoxydim will kill it without harming your centipede.

If I have a good bit of Poa Annua can should I fertilize in a week or wait until it’s gone ?

You seem like the guy to ask.
Recently purchased a house with a decent sized lot. Old lady sold it and didnt do much to take care of the grass. You got any good websites, tips, blogs that you recommend on measures I can take to help it out?
I've done some bonus s which has helped a little.

I have brown spots too
Yard is 3 years old, seeded centipede on about 1.5 acres.
I've noticed I have lot more poana and other weeds this spring.
I'll hit mine this fall with something to knock it out.
Most of it will die out whenheats up.
I'll prob put urea on yard next week or two.
That, plus warmer weather will take care of the brown spots.

If it were mine i'd spray the poa now, otherwise you're still getting competition and your desirable grass will be a month+ behind.
I've got a patch now, killed off the swamp parsley and the damn poa came on. i'm going to spray it asap. I've seen poa hang around through May-June in shady spots in my yard.

I'd either atrazine the poa, or hold off til it starts wilting away.

Image makes a hose attached spray for but sedge, it works. The bottle also claims it kills Poa. I sprayed 3 days ago and it all looks like it’s dead/dying to me.

Poa is really bad this year. It took over an entire side of my lawn that usually is clean of weeds
