Power pole question

I have an older power pole with mag-sync remotes. The remote stopped working so I called power pole and they said it was the mag-sync box. Since it was old I assumed they were right. Bought a new one and installed it. Still same issues with new remotes. The manual trim switch works fine. I programmed the wireless remotes as instructed and they look like they are working. When I hold up or down on the fobs, the mag-sync red light lights up likes it working but the power pole won't work. Any thoughts? Gonna call tomorrow and see what they say but usually someone here knows.

so you didnt try a new battery in the remote and then a new remote first? you just went buy parts to replace that some dude on the phone said you needed

Yes. I tried everything suggested of me. New batteries in the remotes. Used a magnet to "unstick" the mag-sync per power pole tech support. Even then it seemed to programmed correctly but would not move the powerpole. Bc the trim switch worked for the power pole they said the relay was ruled out and it was the mag-sync box.

I remember some thread years ago on LaSportsman where he called out some guide on lake pontchartrain saying he could outfish him and guide told him to put up or shut up and Krakatoa backed down. You could probably Google it and find it but it was comical

that wasnt me but nice try though
i did get into it with a guide who swore a rising tide was better for fishing then a falling tide so i said i could catch more fish on a falling tide they he could on a rising tide and the guide crawfished and backed down from my challenge. and you are right, that was comical that a guide was afraid to accept my challenge like that.
im not always right and admit when im wrong but others can never seem to admit they are wrong so they just insult and make false claims so they can feel better about themselves

I don’t know shite about power poles but I’m happy to report that I too believe the aforementioned poster is indeed a dick.
