So my current jack does not reach my truck. I'm tired of using a piece of wood. Anyone got a truck jack and stand they like. Trying to stay under $300.

I grabbed a rando floor jack at Autozone...works decent enough. ~$1-150

Does your current jack accept the little jack extensions?
As far as stands, going up weight class usually increases height. Just get a correct set from Torin
ETA, there also several high lift bottle jacks out there as well. Is your truck lifted? if not, are you lifting from the correct spots?

I got these jack stands on amazon and they’ve been great. I rather the pin-thru design than those ones with the handle. It makes me nervous to get under those. Listed here for $72.

And I got this low-profile jack from Harbor Freight. It’s been very solid and never given me problems. Also has a lot more range than the little tiny craftsman jacks that most people have. Priced at $129

I have a Harbor Freight jack and stands. Don’t remember the price but I’ve had them about 12 years. Works great

I'm in same boat. Need a higher lift floor jack. I think I'm gonna go the harbor freight route as everybody I talk to have been happy with them.

I've got the harbor freight Daytona floor jack via recommendation from a buddy who owns a body shop. I lift my kubota tractor with it. 557 reviewers @ 4.8 stars for $199 before the coupon... you can't go wrong. I also have the 22 ton air jack that has been flawless for heavy lifting.
Consequentially, and to the disdain of those that hate me and also hate Horrible Freight, I also use the HF 6 ton jack stands. Again, 8 hundred and something reviews at 4.7 stars for under fifty bucks before the coupon...you can't go wrong.
Why pay more? From nearly every day personal experience, I'm content as can be with money to burn for retirement. (Until the chinaman's planned obsolescence rears its ugly head.)
