need a holster for my glock. I've got a cheap one for now but I'd like to get a nicer one for when I'm out shooting or at the range. Preferably leather but if y'all have better suggestions for this reason or another I'm open to listen.

ETA: went with versa carry with a nice Gadsden flag stamp on it. It was 50% off so pretty good deal for a first holster. Thanks everybody.

I don’t do leather, but I can’t recommend Bravo Concealment enough. IWB or OWB are both excellent. OWB with the pancake loops is my preferred choice if I were picking 1 holster.

Lots of good makers out there. I have one from a big shop, DM Bullard, and I have one from a small operation, UBGHolsters. The one from UBG is nicer, has better boning and more attention to detail. I got the sharkskin detail across the top and it really keeps it nice and rigid.
Similar to this.

Try these: JM4 Tactical

I don't do leather myself, but these seem to have a great following and reviews and they are insanely versatile.

There's no way I'd ever trust a magnet to hold my holster in place

I like this leather IWB from Relentless Tactical.

My other favorite is Kydex. Safariland.

They do have a leather version though.

Always wanted to buy a CrossBreed SuperTuck.

Can only tell you what I read and their buyers seem to swear by the product. There are also reviews on Youtube that demonstrate how well they hold. Again, not my thing, but it's worth a look.

I bought 3 different versa carries this holiday season on sale. All owb. Like them all. Great quality. No frills besides mag pouch. Great value.

If you're getting into Kydex, I pretty much only deal with Black Arch Holsters and Tier 1 Concealed. You won't beat these.

I buy my leather holsters from El Paso Saddlery. Great quality. Prices are on point as well. I have a few different pistols that rest well in each holster. It’s also my edc for G19.

I have either 3 or 4 (can’t remember) JM4 holsters. The magnets are really strong. I keep my hellcat on the door of my truck with the flap of the holster inside the cup holder and the magnet holds no problem through the plastic panel. My hellcat is light of course, but I used to keep my Ruger 1911 in the same spot and also my m&p9 pro. To each his own of course, but I love mine.

I've used several different custom leather makers over the years

I like having a nice custom leather holster for any higher end gun, but for practicality, the Silent Thunder holsters (leather lined kydex) are just awesome.

For leather IWB - check out Kusiak. Handmade in Texas. I have two and love them.

I have an IWB and an OWB from versacarry for my Glock 43 and I like them a lot. If you use the coupon code review35 at checkout you can get 35% off your order.

Yessir.

The Black Arch Protos-M is the only "hybrid" I would consider due to its 3/4 wraparound on the trigger guard. I've never seen it done on anyone else's product and it's the reason that holster is the only hybrid that ASP (check Youtube) will recommend.

Stealthgear does that; I don't think it's really unique.
