Recommendations on backpack cooler for beach?

Ice Mule from Sam's is the best bang for your buck.

Ice mule as mentioned is a good choice. Also light and can fold for easy packing after use which is a plus for the beach.
Igloo and Titan would also be good candidates.
I enjoy my Yeti backpack cooler and use it a lot. I dont think you have to pay that much for a serviceable soft cooler but I like the size of it and it has been a good cooler.

Just bought Sam’s ice mule pro xl and used it for beach last week. Ice would be mostly melted by end of day but water and drinks were still ice cold. Just used ice maker from fridge in condo to refill everyday and some yeti ice packs. Think it was 90$ vs 135 regular. It can hold a ton and was very comfortable to carry. The air valve is awesome so that you can compact the size . We used it in the car too. Also folds flat when not in use so you could pack it to fly or use as carry on
