Guys its about that time to start tagging a bunch of reds in the marsh in anticipation for the STAR tournament. Go get your tags!

Why would we tag reds? Doesn’t the STAR tournament directors/committee actually tag the redfish?

No idea what OP is talking about, our reds in SW La are caught by a guide, tagged and released by guide and board member.
Probably done this way across the state.

Louisiana has a tagging program you can sign up for. Your tags are registered to you and cards can be emailed or mailed in with the information on the fish; length, date, area tagged, notes.
