I see two different levels. One at 15.5 and another site says 19.4’.
Does anyone know what is correct?
Thx

Atchafalaya river at Butte La Rose is 19.4’. Where are you seeing 15.5’?

The Butte La Rose river gauge on the NWS may be wrong. It might actually be 15.5’. I’m basing that on the fact that the Pelba gauge in Henderson is at 17.5’ and falling. When the river is falling, the Pelba gauge usually lags behind it.

Barge hit the butte gauge. You can go off the pilot channel gauge and subtract 2’. I’d believe it’s at 15.5’.

The pilot channel level was 19.79 @ 22:00 today. Cypressknee is correct. Take off 2ft. Butte Larose should be about 17.8 ft
