We do get idiots that want MSRP on a used gun.
Well, with a little patience, a gun is almost always worth what you pay for it if it's in great shape. Let's face it, most of us don't blow through bulk ammo and score up the innards.

I have sold many guns over the years but I also own a lot. Sometimes I sell because the gun I bought just wasn't what I thought it would be or its not accurate to my standards. I have close to 100 firearms and suppressors in my current inventory. Probably sold 50 in my 50+ years on this earth. I do have a few that I wish I had back. One being a NIB Model A Uzi. I bought it in college in 92 from a guy in a financial bind for $500. Sold it a few months after the 94AWB for $3,000. Paid for a ton of beer and arse my last year at LSU.

I have no problems selling a gun. If it doesn’t bring me joy, and it isn’t a collectors item or sentimental, I’m not going to keep it.
I assume the lurking idea behind the notion of never selling a gun is that in the future guns might become scarce or outlawed or something. I’ll always make sure to keep certain types of guns on hand, like I’ll always own a couple ARs, but I just can’t ever imagine a scenario where my life will depend on that Taurus pistol I decided to keep.

you will get the going rate on a trade or sale.
Who determines going rate and where can a seller review this?
Better off with Pawn Stars
