re: Someone sat on my ice chest, now the lid is bent and doesn't seal. Repairable?

No it's not.
This is the one and only reason I went up to a rotomolded ice chest. I could give a shite if it holds ice for 8 days, I got sick of having caved in lids that wouldn't seal anytime someone needed an extra seat on the boat, or stepped up onto one.
If it can be fixed, a few minutes with a hairdryer will pop it back out.

The frick does this even mean? I own exactly one yeti product, and its a cup I never use. I said rotomolded for a reason, and there are dozens of brands out there now selling prettymuch the same thing.

Yes.. one being ran over by a vehicle is the same as someone sitting on top of it... one happens on the regular, one doesnt.
You may want to google your precious Yeti. The damage isn't from vehicles.
ETA: Figured the OB wouldn't do the OT bullshite. What is it with shitty Tennessee posters and tigerdroppings?

It dam sure isnt from sitting on them. Stop being cheap and buying walmart junk, or you will continue to have broken coolers. I mean hell wtf do you expect? You came in here asking hoe to repair a piece of junk. It is $60 what do you expect Do you buy $200 vehicles? $10 shoes?
Either keep buyinh $60 coolers or buy one you wont have to worry about breaking

Ok sorry... what do you want to hear?
You can get some superglue and fix it
You can get some duct tape and fix it
It is a freaking $60 cooler man. Just buy another one, what is the big deal

I make fun of you dumbass yeti fans all the time. But, in reality, if I needed a cooler that had to hold up to constant use, and being stood on, etc, I'd probably buy one of the yeti knockoffs. But, for the majority of us that just need to keep a drank cold, a coleman extreme is just as good or better without the weight and "fool and his money" price tag.
Dude, like me, probably has no use for a yeti. He just wants to see if he can unwarp his cooler lid. Stop being stupid.

I said that from the beginning. Perhaps if you weren't too busy jerking it while posting about your YETI, you'd have noticed.

I hadnt bought a yeti, nor an rtic. I have several of them. Between nwtf banquets over the years, and getting them as gifts from clients. You are 100% right, to keep a drink cold you can buy a coleman and it do the same exaxt thing. But the post is about someone sitting on coolers, in which they yeti/rtic are tough as nails and last forever
