Have a 18 x 32 metal carport that i want to have ceiling sprayed to reduce inside, below temps
Good idea, tips ?
I know nothing about it. It is outside and subject to humidity, sides are open
Have boat and RV under it
BR area
Rite now, suns out bottom side of metal roof is 130
RV roof is 115 degrees

I had the roof sprayed in my shop and it made a world of difference. It was pretty much a goat Cajun microwave when the sun came out. May not see as much difference as me since it’s a carport with open air on sides but think it would definitely help.
I used mr green jeans for mine, did a good job. Had a few coverage issues I noticed after they were done and they sent guys back out and addressed immediately.

I have a 20x35 with 11' walls and I got the whole building sprayed. Inside was 90* when I got home at 5pm today. In the mornings its 78* and by the afternoons the inside temp is the air temp outside. My buddy has one with an AC and he said it hardly runs to keep it at 72*
Last winter it never got below 50* even when freezing at night
I used quality spray foam out of houma.

White Seal Elastomeric Roof Coating would lower the roof temps and be a lot cheaper than spray foam. Will take two coats to cover the blue.

Just got my building put up. Had to hold off on insulation to get it in under budget. I am hoping to add insulation down the road.
It’s 30x40 with 14 ft eaves. It gets pretty warm in there during the day but it airs out very quickly when I open up the roll up doors on either end.
Is spray foam pretty much the most popular choice on insulating one after its built?

Used this on my guest house which has a metal roof. It helps, BUT, after a year, dirt has built up on it big time and now looks like crap. The dirt came from a field every time the farmer grinds the field.

On a side note. I need someone to spray under the house. Any idea as to who? New Roads area.
