Heritage has apparently been handing Ruger its arse in the .22 SA market.

MSRP of around $250. Probably get for under $200. Fit and finish are price appropriate.

How is Ruger's quality control these days?

I have a heritage and the accuracy is horrible even at close range.

My rough rider rusted in the safe with a dehumidifier. It’s only 3 years old. I guess it’s expected for 150 bucks.

I approve of this.

I have a very nice single six that puts other rimfire revolvers I've shot to shame but it's time a "quality" builder stepped into the cheap rimfire game. No reason a single action rimfire .22 has to be $600

this the cheapest one? i have one of the little more expensive ones with fiber optic sites and it is a shooter. Had it in my camp truck for 5 years now, zero rust at all. I love the little gun for the price.. with that said, i will be picking up this ruger also, i love single action revolvers

As a counter point I have two RRs and both are extremely accurate. I hit my 2/3 scale IDPA Target at 100 yards consistently. And as a counter point to my counter point one of the two will only fire off 50% of the time because of light strikes.

They do rust easily. Only took a day to strip mine down, clean it, coat with Aluma-Hyde II, bake, and put back together. She's like new.

Tell me about how you stripped it and cleaned it. I’m definitely looking at doing mine with the aluma Hyde 2.

Reviews have been good on them so far. I personally think it's going to be a great little gun. And, a hot seller for Ruger.

Some guys on the Ruger FB group have reported buying them for around $185. I'd expect most to be around the $200 mark. I'd definitely buy one of these over the Heritage. (I have a Heritage by the way and it shoots fine, but there's no comparison to my single six.) I don't expect these to be Single Six quality, but they should be much better than the Rough Rider. Hope to see them offered with a 22Mag cylinder in the near future.
