Can't piss the PETA peps off. I'm sure they do off camera if there is a bounty for them.

Them PETA freaks must not know about all the nutria running around in the LA marsh without tails due to the bounty.

I've heard it's illegal to just shoot them. Not sure if it's true or not. Pretty ridiculous if true. You have an invasive species problem that you need to get rid of, you shoot them.

Is this on public land? They might have regulations similar to hogs, it's got to be an open season on something else.

I've been getting really interested in the iguana hunting and there are folks who noose them or use air guns at parks and on WMAs because they cannot shoot a firearm.

I don't know why they don't shoot them but they certainly kill them. It's possible they just want to be sure they don't lose the entire snake or part of the valuable skin.

One of these guys is a great Instagram follow. He shoots a lot of igaunas with a sweet little airgun. I forget his IG name but I'm sure someone here knows it.

Eta I think it's trappermike or something similar

At least noose them and get that wire noose to behead the things. Donate meat to the homeless.

When I lived in Florida, they were not allowed to shoot the snakes. Had to trap them and humanly euthanize. Moved about 4 years ago, so not sure if it is still the procedure.

Most of it is on WMA, they don’t allow guns outside of hunting season and the snake season is not a hunting season. I think they worry people will shoot deer if they allow guns.

My understanding is they CAN shoot in season BUT That would be bad for T V shows. Snowflakes do not want real life they want Phantasy. and better spelling.??????????????
If they were smart they would carry a SMALL squirt bottle of GAS and if they get bit,,,Put a little on the snakes nose and he will OPEN his mouth.
IF they were really smart and doing this for real life they could catch the things with out danger by putting a little cloth on a stick and when the snakes bit the stick they can not let go. 1 drop of gas on the nose area and the mouth will open. SNAP.!!!!

Would you watch a show where they see snake, shoot snake, put dead snake in bag and do it again.

It's a TV show.

Because if they show them killing them, PETA will raise hell. And stuffing them in a bag makes better tv.
