Looking to get some info on how many times a day y'all set the deer feeders to feed? Also what times of the day y’all set the feeders to feed?

How long do you set the feeder for? 1 second or 2 seconds

I typically set my timers at 12 am and 12 pm, I've had quite a few experiences with the feeder going off while I'm hunting and spooking deer. My feeders are set at 10 seconds of feed time which gives about 1 lb of feed, but thats just personal preference depending on how often you get to refill your feeder.

Just set out the last week or so and have it at 4 seconds in the am and 2 am in pm, will watch and see how much they are eating and adjust

We typically do 7-7:30 am and 4:30-5pm depending on sunrise/sunset times... Earlier in the season adjust them earlier and later because of the longer days, and let's face it. Who wants to go sit an hour earlier than necessary when it's this dang hot?
As far as spooking deer, sure it'll run them off for the 1st few weeks, but once the get used to it they'll hang around. I've seen young bucks stand there and let the corn hit them late in the season when all the browse has died back and the rut is about finished. Then again we feed corn from August to February and Protein year round with salt and mineral licks all summer.

I hate feeders going off when I'm in the stand. In Texas the deer come running. Around here they seem to spook the deer. I like to set mine to throw a little about an hour before daylight, a lot around noon, and maybe another shot about 3pm.

Just bring them in via a leash whatever time you are open to feeding them

I set mine for 7:30 and 4:30.I don’t want deer eating under feeder when I get to my stand.

I normally do mine for 645am and 345pm after we fall back for day light savings. That gives it enough time for daylight in the mornings and afternoon so there will not be hardly corn left at night in the evenings. That keeps the coons basically away.
This past year I had a doe and two yearlings come by every morning. If they showed up and there was no corn, they would walk by. Once it went off, it was within 2 min, and they would be back at the feeder.
I do know that a damn nanny will stand there while the others ate, and stare at ya, waiting for you to move just enough to blow and warn the whole damn county. Lol

You have to adjust at least once during the season with the time change and shortening days.
As a general rule of thumb I like it going off an hour after daylight and about 1.5 hours before dark.
That way you get that first active hour before it feeds, and plenty of time after it feeds in the afternoon so it doesn't get dark on you too quick.

I just put photcell's on the ones I do have. never have to worry about it again. it'll throw the same in conjunction with sun position everyday until the battery dies. Left the timer game 20 years ago. too much hassle.

Same here except I like mine going off a little earlier in the afternoon.

I set mine for 6:30 and 3:30. My brother and Dad like it to go off about 7:30, but I feel like breaking daylight is the best morning time. Usually see deer within 10 minutes.
They also like for their's to spin for 8 or 10 seconds. I set mine for 3 - don't want too much corn out there for the hogs. It also extends the time between fill ups.

Only in the AM. We just let it sit on the ground during the day with hopes it makes them less nocturnal.
The PM spin the deer and coons would show up at dark to come get it.
Set the time depending on how much you want to refill. We usually would only do 4 secs for the once a day.
