Always looking for places. Have always fished Toledo Bend but hate the 3+ hour drive. TIA!!

I got a spot I found a couple of years ago. Me and my buddy marked it so we would find it again. We marked it with a x on the floor of my boat. Hang on let me go outside and see where its at.

I’m sure everyone can’t wait to tell you where they catch crappie.

Not asking for spots just general bodies of water where crappie are good to find.

Miller's Lake used to be OK. I haven't been in years though. You have the whole Atchafalaya Basin just to your east. Three-Mile Lake too but it's private.

Back in the day we used to tear them up at Chicot.

I make it to my FIL's camp at Larto in 2 hrs and 15 minutes from Youngsville.

I don’t know where you are, but Sabine River has a bunch and some good ones. I catch one here and there bass fishing, and threw a beetle spin around the other day and caught 3 in about an hour while trying for bluegill.

Coming from Lafayette area. Where is the best place to launch my boat?

I see some of the Alexandria water lakes but cant find any reports of the fishing in Cotile, Kincaid or Indian Creek. I know Larto is good but that is still a 3 hour drive from the South Lafayette area. Trying to find something within a 2 hour drive.
